Rudy Munis — The Builder Behind the Only True Phantasm P2 Tribute 'Cuda

Rudy Munis didn't just build a car — he resurrected a legend. Driven by a lifelong obsession with Don Coscarelli's Phantasm II and a deep reverence for the 1971 Plymouth 'Cuda, Rudy spent years sourcing correct period parts, matching factory specifications, and chasing down every detail that made the original film car iconic. His build isn't a replica. It's a continuation.

From the 426 Hemi orange block to the pistol-grip shifter, every component was chosen with the precision of a researcher and the passion of a true believer. The result is a machine that doesn't just look the part — it sounds it, feels it, and carries the myth forward.

The Phantasm HemiCuda cruising down an open highway — Rudy Munis tribute

"My plan was to recreate the first movie car with the flares and sunroof. Later I realized the P2 car was the one I wanted to honor, so I built that — with a 426 Hemi to finish the story."

— Rudy Munis
